When I founded Hyperion Executive Search in 2014, I had, and still have, two goals in mind. Firstly, to create a global executive search firm that would make a meaningful impact in the growth of the clean technology sector. The second was to create a company where people could truly grow, contribute, and build meaningful, challenging and rewarding careers.  I have over twenty years of recruitment and search experience. I’ve worked for some great companies and bosses, and some that really sucked. My first recruitment job was literally here’s a phone, here’s a directory, make 100 calls a day! Hyperion is the antithesis of this. Do we measure metrics of course, you can’t improve what you don’t measure. Do we beat anyone with a stick based on KPI’s? Never.

I’m really proud of the team we’ve built, the clients we’ve worked for, and the impact we’ve made in our cleantech sector and sub-sectors. To underpin this, we provide career paths to support personal, professional, and financial growth and improvement. Not everyone has to follow t he same path, or progress beyond the level they enjoy and are productive, but everyone must always strive to improve. Whilst the company and its leaders provide career paths, training, resources, and support, it is the individuals responsibility to develop themselves and to earn promotions and additional accountabilities.

Associate Level (salary + Qtly Bonus)
Those with no, or limited recruitment or commercial experience will join at Associate Level.

Consultant Level (salary + Commission)
Those that prove themselves and show the desire to progress or have existing relevant experience.

Senior Consultant Level (Increased salary + commission)
Those that prove themselves and show the desire to progress or have existing relevant experience.

Team Leader Level (salary + Commission + team override)
Directly responsible for 1 & 3 team members.

Practice Leader Level (salary + commission + team override)
Directly responsible for 3-6 team members

Managing Partner Level (salary + commission + % of team profit +equity)
Directly responsible for the full P&L and performance of a business unit based around their sector.

Managing Director Level
Taking over full responsibility of an existing business within the Group, or with the practical and financial support of the Group, creating a new Business Unit, Service Line or Legal Entity. Joins the Group Board.
